At Alchemy, we are teaching yoga based in the Hatha Yoga tradition and Yin Yoga. Hatha means union. The aim of yoga is to become united with oneself, and with the Cosmos. Through the asanas (different body postures), pranayamas (breath work) and yoga nidra (yogic sleep meditation) we explore movement, meditation, and comfort, in vibrant stillness.
Different yoga postures help the body to build more strength, resilience, flexibility and better postural alignments. This form of movement is safe, and has a moderate pace, and therefore it is perfect for beginners. Regular practice of yoga help you building connection with your body and mind. It can improve coordination, focus, and increase energy levels.
It can reduces stress levels, and promote an increase in happiness hormones in the body. Practicing yoga in a supportive community is a wonderful way to learn and get motivated.
